    I saw where you are planing to install a pertronix ignition in your truck, I can't speak for the 6 volt version, but I had installed the 12v version in mine and had two of them 'burn out' prematurely. I finally went to the IgnitorII which is a much better design and so far no problems, however they don't offer that model in the 6V.
    I also wanted to give you a heads-up on Truckstock '15 which will be held at Fall Creek Falls State Park next September, you might want to review some of the Truckstock / Truckfest threads.
