Been pretty busy lately. Between work and trying to get hay cut and baled, I've also got 2 little grandkids living across the street now to keep me occupied.

Hey there White, Mitch White here. I am following your thread on swapping Bench for buckets and I am having a problem getting to the two torx on the rear of the 60 section. It is the outer ones and there is no clearance to get any tools in there. Is there something you took off too get to these? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

I can't rep you further. But I wanted to say "thank you" for contributing not just the fine points (which are over my head) but the foundational knowledge about turbos in the thread "Riffraff Diesel Billet Wheel." I am sure that I am not the only peanut in the gallery who doesn't understand how it all works together like a system. Or as River19 put it: "[T]he discussion provides some good information for folks like me who have bits and pieces of the puzzle but were missing some of the "glue" that puts the whole picture together as to how the options interact."

I'm looking to modify/upgrade my turbo on my 01 7.3. I've seen where some guys are deleting their EBPV when upgrading. Being in SD, and i'm just north of Omaha, what are your thoughts of doing this? I plug in when possible/needed but it seems it would take longer to warm up with our wonderful winters!! Thanks for the info!
