This is woody 1963. You helped me out in the past with my 2000 ranger xlt 4x4. 3 liter ,4aod. Got bad news. Got a rod starting to knock at 1500-2000 rpm. Pressure gauge was bouncing around a bit while driving down the freeway. I stopped ,shut it off and got towed home. Think the pump is failing. The engine has 115,000 miles. Anyway, can i put a 4 litre 5 spd from a 93 ranger 4x4 in my 2000? Will the efi, computer, etc work? If you can help me out or direct me around the site, anything. I'm kinda desperate. Can't afford the shop and this truck and me have been through too much to just let it die. Thanks for any help wendell.
