Ive got a 65 F100 I was reading about towing in a thread and saw you posted that you have a gooseneck hitch that puts the weight ahead of the rear axle. I was hoping to pick your brain about this a little. I have a 1992 bronco with 1 ton axles, 40 inch tires, and a trailer that weighs about 1500 lbs. I think the overall weight wouldnt exceed about 8000-8500 pounds. Im going to start a new thread about this but was hoping maybe I could chat with you about it

Hi, some intake gaskets have the heat crossover passage blocked off. I used a tin can, like a soup can and cut it to fit inside the gasket port with Ultra Copper RTV to seal one of my intakes that I did not want the heat in. It has held up so far!

    Hello Putt,
I have a stock Ford FE Aluminum intake that has blown a hole the size of a silver dollar in the center of the heat cross over. So my intention is to plug the cross over at the intake/head mating surface. My question is, is there a fairly proper way to do this, short of taking it to a pro welding shop and having them weld in a plug? Any info would be of great help!
    Thanks,
    James
