Great, I'll take the tires and use them for a while. I'll touch base in a couple weeks once I know for sure if I will be home that week. Where in OK will you be heading?

Wheels are $85. I'd suggest reading through my thread in the FTE classified section. In it I show the pluses and minuses of the 19.5s vs 22.5s. The main advantage is cost. Because I've found yard to work with I can offer them for less than the 22.5s. Also, I have sets with tires if you want them. The tires have UV cracks, but might get you rolling until you can buy new ones. If you don't want the tires I add the $16 each it costs me to have the tires recycled. Stu

Hey Truckdog. If you are going to be in Oklahoma, I would definitely be interested in buying a set of 19.5 wheels off you. There is a chance I will be in Iowa towards the end of the first week in December, but I will know for sure in a couple weeks. I can just touch base with you if that is alright? How much would you sell them for? Thanks a lot.

Primarily the various FTE pages, Ford Barn, Ford Fanatics, two Studebaker sites, and occasionally the Stovebolt.com GM forum. Glad to help, good luck finding them a good home. Stu

Thank you! I thought that it could be 65-68 Pontiac, but wasn't sure since I measured against some other Pontiac wheels and found the offset was a 1/4" less. 9780855 is the correct part number for full size Pontiac wheels for those years.

What other auto forums do you visit? Thanks again for sharing your wheel code database with me.

Pontiac, 1965-1968. Full size, not Tempest. Not with disc brakes. Also found numbers 9780855 and 588538 that are no doubt Pontiac or other GM numbers. Stu

    Stu,

I'm new to this forum, and I see you have vast knowledge of wheel codes and applications. I acquired a set of Kelsey Hayes steelies 10 years ago for a project car I was working on at the time. I never used the wheels, but they're NOS and un-used with the green KH sticker on the inside. I'd like to sell them since I no longer need them, but I can't de-code them. I was wondering if you could help me solve this mystery to determine the correct application.
