    Hello Biggziff-
Would you mind forwarding me your dealer/salesperson's info(upstate NY) as it appears you had a pleasant experience with them? I am in the midst of looking for an 11 or 12 F250 Diesel Lariat.
    tks- MY FLHX

    Biggziff,
Your signature intrigued me,since I ordered a truck on the 16th, and have not had the process and info coming to me as I would expect. Would you be so kind as to tell me what all you ordered, so maybe I can find the delay and be able for me to make some educated guesses about eta to me.
    thank you,
    Russ

I just read about you wanting to try and pull your 2010 Cougar 293SAB with a 6.2L.
Your trailer is 8,995 dry and can carry 2,580 lbs cargo which equals 11,575 lbs max.
If you subtract the trailer tongue wight of 1,415 lb you end up with a trailer weight of 10,160 lbs.

Now I have been trailering for over 22 years and have had many trucks so I feel I have a little knowledge on towing.

    My thoughts are:
    1. If you travel long distances with your trailer I would suggest the F-250 with the extra leaf spings and the 6.7L Powerstroke.

    2. If you use your trailer 5 times a year with the family and travel 300-400 miles to get to your destination I would suggest the 6.2L F-250.

If you have the money I'd go for the 6.7L Powerstroke.

    My 2 cents.
