    don't know anything about re-building one. Personally I'd just get a decent mileage 04-08 block from a junkyard. there are minor changes from the years (sensors, coolant crossover, etc)...but if you have your current block to swap parts with it should be fairly easy.

    I saw you commented on replacement mirror covers back in 2010. Do you know if it is still possible to buy just the back cover part of 2004-2008 f 150 side mirrors? I hit a small sapling and busted the bolts inside and the cover fell off while I was driving. Thanks
