I measured the distance from the floor and the bottom of the seat and it was less than the dims you had for the box you made. Did you have to firmly press the seat down to lock in?

Hey bridge, my email is cichonski215@gmail.com

Any info would be appreciated. I think i am going to go with a build the starts at the beginning of the rear driver side seat and ends right before the jack placement on the passenger side. I didn't want to, but i guess i will have to take out the jack stand and mount my amp there. I am going to build an enclosed box. I read that a ported box requires much more cubic feet.....I am already limited in space. Any pics of the finished product or anything you have would help me out alot. Thanks for responding!

    Hello Bridge,
I am browsing around looking for some direction on building a custom sub box for a 10' jl audio sub. I found a posting(2010) by you with the dims on a box you built. I have a few questions for you, if you dont mind.

    Is this box firing down?
Is there a port on it?

If there is any type of direction you can send me for building one, it would be greatly appreciated.

    I have a 2008 FX4 supercrew.

    Thanks,
    Paul
