Hi Stu, New Member here, names Brian. I've been reading up on your posts about the widowmaker rims that I have on my 49 F-3 (with the 14" rear drums) I'm trying to not swap out the rear end gear and just find some kind of replacement rims for this thing. any more info on the 16" or 16 1/2" rims that some guys have had luck with or 17 1/2" tubeless rims that might work? Ideally i'd like to replace all 4. Got any thing for sale or know where I could look? Thanks for you're insight on all this so far! I appriciate your help sir. -Brian

Hey stu how are you, is there anywhere on my 1949 f4 that says what the axel ratio is? Are there any markings on the rear axel that says what it is? And would a 1950 f4 have the same ratio as a 49? And do you know what the ratio options were? Thanks

Stu. I came across your name on a post regarding the replacement of Bud Wheels on a 1946 truck. I have a 1936 1.5 Ton Truck with the 5 lug on 8" circle. I would love to keep the original look of the wheels as the rest of the truck is going to be kept relatively stock. It has a flathead, banjo rear end, mechanical brakes, etc. What I would like is a set of wheels that will be tubeless. I was thinking of getting the centers out of mine and welding onto 20" donuts. I would like to stay in the 20" size, but if I need to change.... I will deal with it. I just want tubeless wheels on the stock hub. Please let me know if you can help me out. My email is luisv@photographybyluis.com . If you have anything... I will scoop them up right away!
