    JSB,

Wow...I'm sorry--I was out of town for months and didn't have web access. Sorry about that.

I'm also sorry to say I can't remember exactly what it was that was broken, but I could clearly see it, after I took off the shifter boot, and shifter. If you contact Rockland Gear, Welcome to Rockland Standard Gear, Home of Tranzilla, the unbreakable bullet-proof racing transmission. , they may be able to help you. They didn't sell that particular part, but they used it in their rebuilds, and they just gave it to me (I tipped generously, of course! LOL).

When I had the problem, reverse was just GONE. Instantly. The day after a 600 mi. trip, so I got lucky. Very lucky.

Again, though, somehow, I was able to observe the part that was broken, and I'm no genius mechanically, especially re: transmissions, so if it's the same problem, you may be able to suss it out by observation.

    I hope this helps!

BigSix1, Could I talk to you about the plastic part you replaced into the top of the transmisson, refering to a reverse problem. I could you some input on fixing my transmisson, the reverse works, you just have to work at it to get the shifter to go into reverse.

    Thanks
    JSB
