    Senixx, been a long time. I have a belt tensioner that has separated but cant figure out which one to buy on my 6.4 liter. It is the one that is next to the alternator on a single alternator unit. Is this the main one? They keep asking me if it is the AC one which I do not think it is but I just cannot see into their to figure it out and don't want to start pulling it apart until I know. Let me know if you can advise when you get a chance.

    Hi Senix, thanks for your reply. Everything seems okay. I went to fill up with fuel tonight, my engine light went off. I checked what I could previously...I'm thinking code P2291 may have been a result of my fuel filter change. I attempted to purge the air from the system after the filter change. When I went to start it after cycling the pump several times, my battery was dead. Found out that I had a bad battery. Does this sound reasonable to you? BTW, my truck seems to be running really well right now.

    I'll be hooking up my Toy Hauler, pulling it about 300 miles on Wednesday. Hoping for a trouble free vacation.

    BTW, what is your recommendation to prevent corrosion to the HPFP? I understand it is almost impossible to prevent water from getting to it due to humidity and other factors. I've heard lots of horror stories...knock on wood I have ~50k mostly trouble free miles. I'd like to keep my fortune going.

    Senix, you've helped me in the past...I appreciate your advice. I have a 2008 F350 6.4. My truck has been super with no issues until last April. It was doing great then the turbo started surging. The turbo gauge would fluctuate about 15 pounds under throttle (going uphill) It would come and go. Seems whenever my truck goes into regen mode, it has this problem. Since last April, it got two new turbos, got a new pressure sensor for the exhaust, had the exhaust replaced, and both fuel filters replaced, and two oil changes. Last week, one new battery. The other was good...Sears wouldn't replace it.

    FYI, the turbo still does the same thing when it goes into region. Tonight, the green engine light came on. Codes were P2452 and P2291. One is for the exhaust back pressure. I'll run it through a regen. The latter is for low fuel injector pressure.Hoping you have seen something like this and can offer some suggestions.
