Mike I sent you an email a few days ago on my ongoing problem with voltage drop at key side of coil. If you did not get it I can just send you a private message. Thanks WW2N

Mike, Hope you can help, you seem to be the ford expert on this site. I have a 1974 f250 camper special 2wd, regular cab and need front coil springs. It has a 390 auto transmission and AC. 8100 GVWR and 3170 front WR listed on the door plate and door jam sticker. It seems to have the heavy duty/tall spring perches. I purchased springs for a 1976 f250 with 8100 gvwr from NPD but they are a little too tall (tires are turned in) and the bottom coil hits the I beam where it turns up. Do you know where I can get a set of springs to fit this? I do not want additional lift or drop stock ride level is fine. Thanks, Steven smamotorman@Hotmail.com

I'm in Polk City, with a '91 standard cab, long-bed XLT 4x4 that I think needs a cab transplant. There's so much rust that one shop I asked about it said it was beyond repair, and to just replace the cab. That's well beyond by age and capabilty at this point; I see you've done that, or had it done. Any recommendations for a shop that might want to take on this project? Alternative is to replace the truck, which probably makes more sense, but I thought I'd look at all the options.

I got a good one. Old, but seemingly not known to many, even Bruin Cable cannot locate any real data on my 137 inch dually Ford F350, a 1974. I need to know the dimensions of the front and rear brake cables as it seems that the list available is not for the 137 inch but only for the 136 inch wheel base. I would love to be able to post the truth on this truck as it must be one rare truck not to have any diagrams or cable numbers for it. Am i right or wrong?

Good day sir. Need a favor. I am in need of a parts illustration for my son's front axle. It seems the master parts catalog I purchased is missing a couple of pages and well they are the ones I need. It is for a 79 F150 4x4 with a 351m. Not sure exactly what the axle is but it is a Dana 44 I believe, open knuckle with disk brakes. It does not have anything that bolts to the top such as a steering arm or ball joints. We have some of the parts but need to get the rest of them. Thanks for your time.

Hey Mike, I have a couple of 97 ford trucks that need a little pulling apart and putting back together. I'm having a little trouble as they've both been border line hacked together already. So I have no idea what equipment is actually original and what isnt.
I have a 97 f150 with a manufacture date of 3/96 and VIN 1FTDX1866VKA36475 with an engine in it that has 3/5/98 manufacture date and 7G840AA on the valve cover label. I'm assuming this isn't the original engine? How do I go about finding the information on what this engine actually is? And do the intake stampings tell what the intake is actually for? I've been searching constantly trying to figure out how to decode the engine label, but I can't find anything. Only VIN decoders. If you can point me in the right direction, I would SERIOUSLY appreciate it.
Email - dsbeem87@gmail.com or even text would work
