I actually have run it down to just below 1/4 tank and have not had any probs. I do however like tpo keep my trucks at 1/2 or more. Walmart loves me buying diesel clean and oil.

    Thanks Tim,
I was reading how some guys were getting about 900 miles per tank and when I hand calculate going mostly fwy miles albeit some mtn passes in Tahoe I was getting 21-22 mpg. So but if my fuel gauge is wonky then I can kinda gauge better to empty. All these Exs came with 45 gal stock, right?
    Thanks

    Tim,
I`m not sure. When it`s full it seems to work fine and go down as I would expect. But at 1/2 tank it seems to get a little weird such as drops to E then rises up. I do believe the oil helped overall but I think I just have to get a new one. How many miles are you getting per tank?
    Thanks

Thanks man! I went ahead and bought the Dieselsite filter for my truck, but I'm about to pick up another 6.0L for my property this weekend and it'll need a coolant filter too, so I may do a home-build following your instructions or I may just get a second Dieselsite... so all that to say, I'd appreciate the info, but it's not an urgent thing :-)
