Cheezit, Was referred to you from another forum member. I have been at a loss in getting a final answer to a post I started about my 2009 F250 V10.
Can you help by verifying with a genuine 2009/10 shop manual what the torques specs are for the latest V10 engine with the long thread spark plugs? Thanks you in advance, Tom.

    See post here:

    Good Evening.
I know the thread I was looking at was an older one but I have a question. I bought an unlocked/unmarried SCT 3015 off of Ebay for my 6.0. I pluged it into my truck and got the same message many other have. It told me the ECO was unsupported. I checked the strategy and it said VXCF9H7 and TQCK0HZ. I tried to upload the newest update from SCT but for some reason the rpogram isn't seeing the tuner when it's plugged in. Does the newest update have the canned tunes for those strategies? If not do you still have the files you can send?
    Thanks a bunch

    hello sir,
Thank you so much for the input regarding my lost bit.

I'm sorry if i'm coming off stupid here, but what exactly would you do and how worried would you be?

Should I just toss a magnet in the oil pan? up through the drain plug or do i need to separate the pan?

    I really appreciate your help.

says she's as clean as the pictures show, no rust, no dry rot on any rubber, etc., 1600 hours on the motor...cold start 3 tries and she purred up nicely no smoke.
Anyway sorry for being long winded here. my question to you is would you be willing to go and inspect it as my mechanic with a scan gauge before I commit to getting on a plane and flying out there, for a fee off course?

    Hi Cheezit,
    part 1
I see you are a Ford Master Tech...I have been following on ebay, what I think is a great truck but everyone keeps trying to talk me out of it.

I have read tons of post and done tons of research, but I never owned a diesel before. I currently have a 1/2ton hemi, but have reached my towing capacity and am now looking for a really good truck I can call mine for the the next 20 years or so and haul a 5er with it. CarFax checks Clean, Oasis Report Clean (literarly nothing on it but vehicle specs). A buddy of mine from the Rad Star Clinic Forum passes this dealer everyday and he checked it out yesterday for me, (I live in South Florida),

Thanks for your response. I guess my real question is....How hot can my EOT and ECT get ( I understand the 15 * delta difference) and still be safe?

You referred me some time ago to Spartan of Dallas for studs, oil cooler, etc. I spoke to you over the phone a few times. My problem ( if there is one) is my truck under tow (27' 5th wheel) appears to be getting hot. I have an Autoenginuity scanner. Oil temp 215 and Coolant 210. Normail w/o tow is 147 range. I want to tow to Tenn in 3 weeks. Do I have a problem? BTW --new trans fluid/filter, new oil Rottela & filter. New diesel fluid filters. A coolant (Rolttela) fluid/filter. 2004 F250 6L Lariat psd 200k miles. Call me if you prefer 214-850-3282 Stanley. Thanks

    Data seems good:

    icp v koeo .2
icp actual when it happens is 1000 or more
fuel pressure is 50 + when happens (blue spring kit)
    ficm v 47.5 and higher
ipr % running 26% hot or cold
ipr % cranking 50% when having problem
oil filter and cap - oem
    fuel filters - oem
    Batteries test good
    New starter

Video of truck starting and dying:

sorry for another post but it wouldn't all fit and the data is important.

Hey cheezit, i seen some of your post where you helped someone diagnose their 6.0 powerstroke problem. you seem like you really know your stuff and was wondering if you could help me out with my 2004 6.0 powerstroke. Truck seems to have a particular problem that I haven't been able to find any where else. I have looked and researched and wrenched on the truck for the last 6 months trying to fix it and just can't find anything. The truck will start fine cold, and has trouble hot. This isn't a normal no start hot or anything like that. One of three things will happen trying to start the truck hot. 1. It will fire and die instantly. 2. It will start and turn 200 rpms and slowly work its way up to idle speed. 3. I will hold the key over until it has enough rpms to stay running. There is no smoke out the tail pipe.

Saw your post from earlier this year in response to someone needing a 6.4L Powerstroke. According to dealer, mine is shot at 100,662 miles. Anything you can suggest would help a ton. Thanks
