Hi, I am not a heavy user here but I want to sell my aluminum trim from my 79 F-150 and want to make sure to do it right. Should it go in classified or truck parts for sale? How can I bring the most attention to it?

    Thanks
    Jeff

I just clicked on the link in your reply and it says the requested page was not found. When I did a search from that page for my post, it did come up. *shrugs shoulders with a blank look*

Hello. I posted a question about a bellhousing and clutch in the 73-79 f100 and higher column last night. Checked this morning to see if anyone had an answer for me, and I see my post has been deleted or moved. Can you tell me why?

Hi LxMan1, can you tell me how to ask if anyone has an a/c unit for a 1979 F150 with a 4.9L engine?

Yes. The thread was viewable on the mobile version, so I was able to edit my post and delete the problem. I asked for help before I thought of how to fix it myself. Thanks!

Edit: I corrected the issue. Sorry.
It appears I've broken a thread - "need advice on painting?" - by posting a YouTube playlist link in my reply. I would be grateful if you could delete my post so the thread will be restored.
    Thanks!

I have a suggestion to add information to one of the locked information threads.
In the thread "1973-1979: FAQ's, Tips & Tricks, Projects, and FORUM INFORMATION, -PLEASE READ!", by Torque1st. His post (#23), covers vacuum switches. I think information on spark delay valves would be a very, very helpful addition. I used his info on the ported switches, but had no idea that I needed a spark delay valve, nor what, exactly the SDV did.
After trial and error, following a vacuum schematic, I kept seeing an SDV in the vacuum circuit, but did not know what it was, what it did, or what color I would need. I finally bought one, on a guess, and it fixed the problem I was having.
I hope this information saves someone else some time and frustration.
    Thank you.

Could you move this thread to the 2004-2008 F150 forum? His truck is an 06, not 09. I would appreciate it. Thanks.
