Just saw your message, been absent from the site. My truck is not running, am trying to repair rust and have the cab off right now. Would be interested in any information on meet-ups. Enjoy seeing these old trucks and it is always good to know others in the area to call on for local parts and suppliers.

    Hi,
I would appreciate any help you can give me with the AOD swap. I'm committed to the project, and have one being built. I'm not too worried about moving the cross member for the rear mount (looks pretty easy), and will have to move the hanger bearing mount. Once I get that done and the tranny installed, I can install the front 1/2 of the driveshaft to get the measurement for the rear shaft. A local company will shorten the one I have for $65. So much for the easy stuff!
I'm not sure what to use for a flywheel. I grabbed a cable from an 87 F150, and mounting brackets from a few different trucks. I haven't looked to see how hard it will be to set up yet.
Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
