    hello , Jim

It's Tully again, well I honestly think I found it (long 3rd years of Ms. Poof Poof aka my pick up)

anyway it sputters if not warmed up , a tick/sputter in a lifter/s /or cam lobe that what it really was (probably why it killed a head gasket ) found out plugging out the pcv (thought it was that make the tick tick sound

Number 2/3 cylinder exhaust or intake valve or multiple lifters

Thanks for the reps! I noticed there were only 8 and not 9 LOL. I found where you listed the numbers from almost three years ago. Must have found another one since then? LOL

Thanks for the reps. But, it wasn't that hard once I got the true dimensions.

Thanks. As diseases go, allergies are probably the best you can have. However, when in full bloom they are the pits.

Hey there, I'm replying to this old bit of advice you gave a guy about a clutch pedal sticking halfway and not fully disengaging the transmission. I'm having the same problem now on my 97 f350... I'm picking up the bushings and the lever with the worn pin that you mentioned this afternoon, the master cylinder is full and shows no sign of having leaked any fluid... I'm worried about not being able to drive my daily driver come Monday morning and want to cover all of my bases whike the dealerships are open and before we get too much more snow.... is there anything else you would suggest I look closely at before I make the 2 hrs drive to the dealer?

Thanks so much for any advice.

    You said:
"Let's start with the cheap and obvious problems before thinking the worst.

As I said, the symptoms mimic the bushing perfectly.
If the pin on the arm has a flat spot or groove worn in it the new replacement bushing will crack almost instantly.
    The arm can be replaced.
