Hi svolpone. Thank you for the introduction and help the other day. By the way, I was told the 390 came off of a Fairlane. The casting numbers from the heads and intake do align with a 66/67 Fairlane. I'll still check the displacement to verify a 390.

My parents are visiting with us in Atlanta so my dad is helping his son and grandson's tremendously on our 1966 F100 Flareside restoration. I am originally from and my parents still live in the Altoona area. Where in PA are you located and where does the PA chapter typically meet?

hey, thanks for getting back to me. I found a pretty nice steering wheel, so i'm good. i've seen pretty cracked wheels out there. the one i got is perfect. pretty amazing when they last that long.

Sorry for taking so long to get back with, you know?

Anyway, I looked at the old steering wheel and it's cracked around the base. Bad enough you wouldn't be happy with it and I wouldn't feel right selling it.
