I thought I may live near you. You posted a picture of you in town. I believe Lancaster, near Leslies pool supplies and it looked familiar but that was a week or so ago and now I cant find the picture to confirm. I have been a GM guy for a long time, they were easier to work on for me. Then a friend had this monster of a truck he wanted to get rid of and it had not ran in years (about 5) so I bought it from him and got it on the road. I have been learning an enormous amount of information about my X to fix it and get it better from this site, and thought if I could meet a local guy that significantly knows more about them than I there is a chance I could learn how to improve it's road worthiness. When funds get collected I endeavor to find something to fix and hope to make it run better or more comfortable to drive when needed. I have a group of kids so it helped when I needed to get mom's van fixed when someone decided to hit it, now the kids beg to drive it all the time.

Thanks for the reps. But, I wish it was not even a topic of discussion and that it had never happen.

Hello, I'm new to FTE. I am from San Diego but move around alot (Active Military). I'm curently at FT. Benning GA but San Diego will always be home, plan on retiring there in a few more years. So I figure the SOCAL chapter is where I belong rather than trying to change chapters every time I move (plus I did'nt notice a Germany chapter, thats where I keep bouncing back and forth to). I have owned a 2004 Expedition XLT 4X4 5.4L for the last 9 years and plan on adding a new F-150 or newer modle Super Duty soon.
