I read in a post you had set of headliner trim for sale. I'll take it if you still have it.

    Hello Mike,

I am running the same pistons as you, I have been researching the internet for cams and I really like the idea of the xe262. But, I am really concerned with about the lobes getting wiped and it appears that CompCams this happens more often then others. So how do you like your cam and how long have you ran it? Also, how is the idle? So is the 62001 closer to xe262 specs or the 62002? Thanks Jim

    Hi
header collector ended real close to linkage .
I had to modify my shift linkage , i cut the L bracket and welded it back together shorter. also had to make a bend in exhaust at collector to go around the shift linkage . if you got the cash just get the shorty sanderson headers

390 out of a 67 tbird, stock bore , flat top pistons , 10:1 cr , balanced pistons/rods, lunati 62001 cam kit, home ported heads with stock valves, performer intake , holley 750 and flo tech headers , she runs real good . if i had t do it again only change i'd make is the cam , i'd bump it up to the lunati 62002

Hey there Mike, I saw in a post from last year you had a 2bbl stock carb you were perhaps willing to sell, is that still the case? I have a stock 2bbl on my 68 f250 highboy and it needs a rebuild. The only guy in town who does it wants $300... anyway if you were still looking to sell that rebuilt carb, I would be interested.
