    I'm now doing a/c and refrigeration. Decided to expand my knowladge base a little and learn some of the stuff I didn't know. In this field there is a lot of work and it seems to be pretty stable. We do a lot of grocery stores and comercial work which I don't like as well. Managment companies are a pita. I like dealing with a customer directly vs a 1800 number

    I understand, I'm a masonry contractor and work is slowing down and prices dropping lower every time I talk to another builder.

    Oh I got some of my own stories as well, I started plumbing when I was 17 and LOVED it, Did a little A/C duct work at the same company I started at. Those were the good ole days.

    Yes I'm a journey man plumber. Been doing. Hvac and plumbing for about 10yrs. Right now we are packed up. Comically our house we were renting flooded 2 wks ago while I was at work. Tell me that isn't funny. The plumbers house floods.

    It's not too bad, I have a hard time getting paid from the contractors more than finding projects in the area. Still keep busy. Is that what industry you are in?. We have people from the areas you are moving to also, If you get a chance to go to the Texas Chapter and go to the Member map it will pull up where we all are in Texas
