    Hi mate,

I saw your avatar of your F-truck and a few of your photos. Its a great thing you did chasing down your old mans rig and restoring her. I have a 78 myself and if it isn't too rude to ask, I was wondering if I could know the paint code for the grey/silver and black you used. Also, my vehicle is the 78 f100 green so I will have to mark out the area for the two tone. Any good tips for this? I saw your video and I have no idea how you taped it up so perfectly.

Cheers for your help and time mate

    Aaron

I just read you story on your truck. Great post!!! I'm redoing my own truck that has been in the family for years but not from new. My body was shot when I got it so I've found everything but a cab. I see where you've got a cab and bed from Tx. Do you have a connect or just found them. I could use some help as there is nothing around here. I went to New Orleans for a parts truck for a lot of my parts. Hope not to do that again.

I figured as much. I did the underside of the cab yesterday, I brushed and then scubbed with a scotch brite till it was fairly clean. I had alread blasted it, so there wasnt much left, just some areas I was worried about. I learned alot with my first go around. I dont think I will be as picky with the blaster anymore, as this is a great alternative. I like the way the 520 leaves the zinc in the pits, just hope it doesnt have an adverse affect on adhesion. Oh, and the other one is concentrate on smaller sections instead of say the whole floor in this case to keep other areas from flash rusting. Over all though its a great tool, thanks again, I really value your experience.
