so I picked up the 1985 f250 6.9 did glow plugs and glow plug relay automatic turn n still works starts up every time no leaking fuel lines. fuel pump looks to be newer. replacing both fuel tanks due to one missing and the other leaking. the coolant looks new its very green like it should be. doing and oil change, fuel filters and air filter this weekend along with replacing the tanks and fixing the front of the body. picked it up for $900 think there is 217000 on it but not sure might be 317,000 just want to know if there is any thing special I should look for and look into replacing.

The way his filter is plumbed and the way it hangs low looks like trouble to me, that's all.

And it's no secret that I feel the E4OD is crap.

Agreed, my brothers SD sway bar mounts very similar to the OBS ones Iv seen. Mounting the links to the frame should be pretty straight forward...I havent looked at it in depth really but it cant be too hard. They will defently have to be extended to acomodate for the lift.

Thanks for the help, I havnt really used this.

X codes are the heaviest spring from what Iv read. DieselBrad over at PSN knows that stuff very well and could tell you for sure. Do you think a swaybar would be a good way to prevent my body roll/sway?? Or go to a heavier spring? Im torn between the two.
