Thanks to many of you I have a beater 72 F100 Custom 302 with a Edelbrock 650 CFM 4 Bbl and a 79 Crown Vic AOD.

I love the way it shifts into OD at 45 MPH. I only wish I could smoke tires But Alas, a Shelby styled 302 cannot do it. Gravel YES Pavement NO. The Heads are Genuine Legacy Rogers 289 heads from North Hollywood Where Carroll Shelby had his COBRA head work done.

But, some have told me you cant launch a Huge oil tanker like a F100 with a STINGER Missile.

Anyway, I'm enjoying the better gas milage with the AOD.

    Hi I'm new here since 2013 since I got a 72 bumpside and a 73 dent side. I'm 64 retired computer builder/video engineer.

Love to talk mods, but not too deep, I've got ADD LOL. Thanks to all of you who tolerated a bunch of my dumb questions. I'm building a 92 Geo Tracker Electric Car too. in my spare time.

I bought a Horrible Freight drill/Mill/Lathe combo I am converting to CNC and a 24x48 pro CNC router. Part of my bucket list Always wanted a Hot Rod so here I am looking around for good ideas and advice.

My family background is we were all farmers and grocery store owners since the 1700s in Germany Holland and Russia.

My GG Grand father and his twin was orphaned in the Civil War. Taken in by a Doctor in Lancaster County PA. Heritage was amongst the Amish and Mennonites. Family farmed in Abilene KS for 3 generations

Grandmother was Swiss. Had a graduate degree from New York in Dress making and design from the 1900s.

Anyone near Sacramento to share ideas?
