hey kspilkinton, im new on the site.. this is actually my first time sendin some1 a message..anyways. ive owned a 2000 7700 supercab for two years now. it has a 6inch fabtech lift and 3inch body lift w/ 35"tires.. my question is about my front end steering parts. tierods, balljoints, endlinks, idler arm, pitman arm, and bushings. im having trouble finding the right pitman arm and idler arm. ive been trying to cross ref some part numbers and i think i found the right tierod ends on ebay as well as ball joints.upper and lower.. is there any way u can help me find the right part/number for my idler arm and pitman arm.. it gives me two options.. 2.5inches between mounting holes. or 3.5incesh between. i also dont know how to measure the holes.. is it center to center or outside to outside? any info with this would be great and thanks ahead of time.. and also like i said im new to the site so if i missed out on some ettiquite sorry!!

Kerry, i'm new here. i was googling f150 heritage and a post of yours from 2006 came up, about the 7700, but you mentioned the Heritage so i thought i'd give it a shot. hope you can help!

I have a 2000 F150 XLT and i just found out, according to the VIN and the door sticker, that it's classed as a Heritage. i can't find out anything about the 2000 F150 Heritage. can you tell me what that means; what Heritage-specific equipment or whatever, it might have?

    thanks

Kerry, i'm new here, but i'm interested in a 7700 rear swap. my dad has an 02 SuperCrew FX4 5.4 3.55LS, and he's wanting to beef up the rear WITHOUT going with air bags. we've put a set of timbrens under it already, and it pulls just fine, especially with the class V hitch and load-leveling bars, but we just want to be as safe as possible. the trailer he's towing is a little over 8K lbs and he's only rated to tow 7100. i know we're beyond the rated limits, but we've upgraded the brakes with rotors/pads for Trucks/SUVs that tow frequently, and we've made plenty of bolt-on power upgrades. now, step 3 is the suspension. we're trying to avoid changing the gears since he only tows 4 times a year, about 50 miles each (which is also the reason he doesn't wanna step up to an F250). you seem to be the master of all things 7700, and we're interested in doing what we can to (hopefully) keep from killing this ford-illac. thanks in advance.
