    I am at wits end. Can you recommend a good trustworthy shop in the Denver area? Do you have a shop? I have replaced everything and still have a miss. 1986 F150 5.0.

    If you check pull a part website and click new Orleans, they will show a list of Taurus that they have. If you see your year, let me know what you may need. I will get it.

    I think it is the second generation. It has the 32 valve v8. I did not look at the transmission. I have seen a few SHO's in there over the past couple of years.


    It is smaller than the original Taurus.

    Yours is a sound philosophy. It's more work to pay attention and look up references, but I certainly appreciate it. This is one of the best run forums (sub-forum, technically), with some of the best information. From what I've read seen, you're a big part of that. It's a big confidence booster knowing you all are here for when I get in over my head working on the pickup.
