    Good morning tip49,
I was creeping in your photos and noticed the rear sway bar, and was wondering what it was off of and what diameter it is. If you could please get back to me I would appreciate it. Thank you, regards, rusty_bits

    Hey tip49,

I have a 1950 ford f1 truck. I'm looking for the original gage insert with working gages. I need to replace mine, but I don't know if I am going to go with modern insert with modern gages. I would like to find the original working gage cluster so I can keep the original look. I saw where you may have something I can use. Do you have any suggestions?

Hey tip49 I was looking at your floor repair pictures. I would like to see the bottom side at the cab mounts. It looks like you did away with part of the mount piece that goes into the cab? I got to replace my driver side floor pan and want to get rid of the spot welded flange where the floorpan and toeboard/pan meet. its just a great place for rust! also that sheetmetal above and below the cabmount plate, another great place for rust problems!

I used the Crown Vic harness; still need to dress up the install this spring. I think I have a link for the EEC IV harness, that describes which wires need to remain, I removed the air purge solenoids, so still get engine light. I am getting high idle error codes, I'm going to clean the ICM to see if that cures the problem. Hope this helps.

Hello again, I was wondering if you have done your EFI wiring harness. If so did you make your own or did you buy a new harness? I am wanting to beat the price and do my own but wondered about others that have tried it. I have some info for the mustang maf/5.0 stuff , but mine is a 351W/5.8 with speed density not MAF.

Hey Tom, feel free to email me directly at - we can discuss my flathead. (I tried to reply to the message you send me but it wouldn't go through for some reason...)

George Moirs is handy but a little pricey, I just got back from Mid Fifties in Arizona with a truck load of parts...just the box price difference paid for the whole trip.
A friend of mine is doing a 49 Merc long box here in Stony.

I'd sure be interested in buying a set of the heater control knobs. I sure don't want to use the black ones.
