    Hi Chris, I rarely see when I have a PM. Sorry being so slow. They don't email well either. All of them are 2448 x 2448 which I don't think is huge. All pics go to dropbox now that its on my computer and I think there is where the problem is. Thanks for the kind offer.

    I used the original hubs, but cut the 6 lug bell flange off. Behind the six lug flange is an 8 bolt pattern holding on the drum. I put longer studs on these and used a dually adapter from wheeladapters.com bolted on, sandwiching the drum in between. If you search maybe you can find my old thread(s) about the process. Also you could call me at 360 376 2449 and I can fill you in better.

    Hello, I have a question or 6 regarding your wheel conversion, I have a 59 f350 and just picked up a new rear end. It looks like I will have to move the spring perches in a couple inches. Also, I'm not seeing which front hubs you used. I would be grateful if you could enlighten me....

    It's a one ton '47 panel. Quite rough, but quite complete. Rear axle is split in half with rt side hub and drum missing. Tough thing to roll. Hood is smashed in the front. What could make it attractive is that I have a good '47 tonner rear axle here under a trailer, and a good hood too. It has a V8 that looks complete and I have two correct 59AB flatheads here that are crack-free. He wants 2500 and wont budge. Says he can get it hauled here for 1000.00 to 1200.00 which is in line with others I've had hauled from Minot. He says it's 9 miles north of the hwy. Might be good to talk on the phone a bit.     GB I just watched your truck videos, and I also have a sawmill that I am putting together. It's an old circular saw; if I can figure out how to get my videos loaded on youtube, you'll be able to see my truck, sawmill, and john deere 620 that I am building to run it.

    Hi mate,we are in the UK but if you could send the info to my email pls,being new to the site and not knowing how to do things correctly yet,my email being Electric71@hotmail.com or PM but i would have to work out how to retrieve that,and i will pass on the info to Keith my boss,the truck owner,thanks for the prompt reply.Still a little in the dark as it were as the truck has a 6600lb gross weight,is that correct for the 1 ton as we have been told this is a rare truck and is in fact a 1& 1/2 ton but that does not seem to make sense with what i info we have been given so far.We cannot get the chassis number as the plate is so worn it is not visible.All i can tell you it was last licensed in Kansas in 1961 as i have a photo of that licence plate in front of me.Again thanks for help,appreciated very much.
