    So I've started a thread a while back on Reconditioning the stock aluminum wheels. You can take a look here:

    (I'm placing this here instead of the thread as I don't know if we are allowed to link to other forums in threads)

    It sounds like clear-coat stripper, a good sanding, buffing, and clear-coat reapplication is all that is required. I'm a little skeptical of using a wire-wheel as shown in the thread.... but I might give it a shot as it looks effective. Perhaps a less abrasive wheel?
