Description:

Bought in Ontario Oregon in 2003 from a farmer who wanted $1500.00 for it. It was used on the farm, except he let his daughter drive to school until she got a ticket for 85 in a 55 mph zone. She had installed an after market radio which required her to mess up the original dash. Radio was gone when I bought it. It had about 152000 miles on it; I got it for $850.00.

Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:

Don's Machine Shop in Kenosha WI rebuilt the motor 1500 miles ago.
Stock was a 360 cid 2brl. Single exhaust
Mods are as follows:

Bored .60 over = 377cid
Edelbrock manifold, 600 cfm 4-brl carb and an RV cam
Mallory Dist.
FlowTech Headers and header mufflers
Heavy duty Clutch and Oil pump

Suspension Modifications:

None, but it already had four shocks in front. And according to Ford they didn't make a three quarter ton 2WD with four shocks in front in 1974.
Speculation is that it started down the line as a 1 ton or a 4WD but someone wanted a 2WD Custom so they left the 4 shocks on it. You can tell they are factory installed.

Wheels/Tires Modifications:

Kept it stock, except it came with 9.50X16.5 10 ply bias. And as we all know its pretty hard to find bias ply tires any longer. I stuck 9.50X16.5 on it but the tread is almost 3 in. narrower and has a passenger car tread on it instead of the old zigzag I wanted

Interior/Exterior Modifications:

I installed SunPro Tach, Oil, Water and Amp meter. As mentioned earlyer there was no radio in it and the dash had been altered. I replaced the dash bezel and the bracket for the radio and heater controls, but made these stock. However I istalled a retro looking AM/FM cassett playing radio, that has 10 disc changer controls built in.

I also installed P/Windows

Future Modifications:
