Description:
I just bought this truck in April '09. I wanted a cool daily driver.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
It still has what is presumed to be the stock 352, cruise-o-matic, Dana 44 rear. I added a Pertronix II ignition & matching coil.
Suspension Modifications:
I intalled discs, i-beams, radius arms from 78 F150. The power steering, power booster, master cylinder & sway bar all came from a 76 F250.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
The rims are 15x8 all around. Goodyear Wrangler tires. Front tires are 235/75/15. Rears are 31.5x15
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
The bench seat & side panels were recovered with white vinyl a long time before I bought it. It has been repainted 5-7 years ago.
Future Modifications:
Someday would like to install 4.6DOHC, EAOD, 9" or Mark VIII IRS, lower the suspension with drop beams, CV frontend or Dakota based front end. New paint, get chrome rear bumper or roll pan, Ranger buckets & console, but I have a 37 Ford streetrod to finish first! LOL
