Description:
I have owned this truck for 17yrs. I paid my uncle $100 dollars for it and pulled it out of his junkyard. I originally plannned on just repairing the driver floor and driving it but one thing lead to another and before Iknew it the frame was on sawhorses in my garage sandblasted/painted and every nut,bolt,bushing,brakeline and brakes replaced. Then came the cab both floor pans and cabmounts replaced and alot of work on both kick panels from the vents down repaired with 18 gauge no bondo.
Someone had chopped the dash to put in an am/fm radio so even that was filled and an orig.rechromed radio installed (it even works) repainted the interior had the orig. seat recovered new carpet,headliner and rechromed the orig. custom cab inst. panel cab was painted aqua/white close to orig. lt.peacock/white.
Then one day while the truck was pulled halfway out of the garage (before the nose was on) I reached in and started it the #^*&%$# thing jumped into reverse the pass. door hooked the garage foldedfoward and caved in the cowl pulled the hinges from the post. Idid get it stopped before it went thru the back of the garage and then I cried like a little bitch.
From there it went to a PROFESSIONAL body guy. He did fix the damage,stripped the paint off the cab (cause he did'nt like it) sprayed it grey primer and there it sat for 6 yes 6 yrs. Quote " you can't rush restoration"
So in 2002 I just went and got my truck my son and I put it together and started driving it still grey primer but it looked good and got alot of attention.
Then in 04 some *%#hole in a dodge 3500 diesl ran a stop sign and hit me in the left front destroying the fender.hood,grille,upper valance. I did'nt cry this time but I did get arrested and he got a big lip. With the exception of the hood I had everything to fix it I have 3 parts trucks.
This year when I uncovered it (in my back yard) I thought maybe it's time to put it on ebay or smething (just looked like #%*^)but my wife and son both said NO!!!!! So I bought a hood a gallon of black epoxy primer and some 400wet/dry sand paper and went to work and I must say it looks damn good .
The bed is still orig. never touched still has some dings and rust in the floor but it's covered and looks good

Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Engine is a 67 390 2v upgraded to edlbrock perfomer intake/cam/lifters with a holley 4v
Trans is a c6 with manual valve body.
Rear is a dana 60 with trac loc
Suspension Modifications:
All stock
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Chrome smooties with caps 15x7 frt.
rears were 15x8 had 2in. added to backside 15x10 with 275/60/15
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Interior is all just like Henry maid it
Future Modifications:
As far as I'm concernd it's done but is it?
