Description:
it's a 1965 f100 plain jane "no frills" truck.
i have owned it for 7 years and have put 10,000 miles on it. currently undergoing a frame off restoration which started in early 2009.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
the truck was born with a 240 inline 6 backed by a 3 speed column shift, 9 inch rear end with 370 gears
the motor is being replaced with a 289 V8 and C4 automatic trans column shift.
Suspension Modifications:
upgrading to power disc brakes and power steering
the 9 inch rear will stay. no plans to lower the ride of the truck.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
stock for now.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
i will be going to a ranger interior package, carpet on the floor, vinyl cover over the gas tank, console from a 64-65 falcon/comet (if i can find one) i already have the bucket seats from a 65 mustang installed in the truck.
Exterior will be left stock.
Future Modifications:
the truck will be painted a 2tone color scheme.
you will need to stay tuned for colors, i'm still not sure!
