I am trying to load two new tunes to my F6 DP Tuner. They load into the program fine and I save the Local PC then close the program and unplug my USB. Then start my truck and the tuner does not go to the new positions.

I have position 1, 2, 3. I load 4 and 5, but when I hit + on my switch it does not go up past 3.

Am I doing something wrong?

Hello gang. I got a daimond...

Hello gang. I got a daimond eye 5" muffler of a trade. So I bought the 5" cat delete pipe. Well I was gonna get a 5" 45* and dump it if front of the tire. After working all day and cutting grass I never made it to getting a 45* or clamps. I already have a 3 1/2 down pipe.

So I was thinking if I could put the cat delete pipe on and run it till I get the rest of what I need? Leaving for a 400 mile trip.

Okay, so while I'm driving,...

Okay, so while I'm driving, when I come to a complete stop. Once I take the foot off the brake the truck will start rolling but when I press the accelerator I feel it catch and accelerate.

What I am imagining is like if a u-joint was going and it is loose and once I hit the accelerator, everything tightens up and runs great.

There is no slipping, no grinding, no sound. Transmission fluid is good. Could it be the torque converter? How about something in the transmission? I checked the drive line and all are nice and tight. Not sure where else to look, or what to look at or how to diagnose where the problem may be.

Anyone every experience anything like this?

Thanks guys.

I am helping a friend with...

I am helping a friend with his 1994 f150 300 6cyl Dual tank setup. Truck has been sitting up for about 2 yrs. So far he has diag it with a bad solenoid. He has to jump teminals for the starter to engage. he has key power goin to it. He hopes to get it replaced this weekend.

My question is with key in on position and you jump the solenoid the eng spins over but will not crank. Now you can pour lil fuel in TB and it will run until it is burned up. So I know ign is fine.

My question does the solenoid also power the fuel pumps? Ifnot what does. It may have bad pumps due to sitting up. I personally havn't had a chance to even see the truck. he has been texting me questions on what to check. I did a quick search and didn't find my answer. I am that familiar with FORDS.

Thanks for all replys.

Ok so I have a 1986 f150 2wd I paid $800 for it, so I'm rebuilding the motor right now and converting it to carb, but now I also want to have that 4wd, so I was looking at an 84 bronco I found in a junkyard and was wondering if I could rip off the front end with manual locking hubs, manual transfer case, and manual transmission, driveshafts and rear axle, I know it's a lot of work and would probably be easier just to get a 4wd set up already, but these parts are cheap as hell and there won't be any cutting or welding so it shouldn't be to much of a hassle, just need to know if those parts will work or not.
