I called Ray at Finish Line today, He actually lives pretty close to where I grew up in Pinehurst, his girlfriend of 30 years use to babysit me. I pick up my 400 core (which only has 5,000 miles on it since the last rebuild) I think it has a bad rod bearing, I'll tear it down and have a look. Talking to Ray he had a lot of good ideas and ways to save money off of Tim's kit, and still improve performance. A friend of mine that has a repair shop in Rockford just put a Street Demon carb on a rig and just raved about how perfect it was out of the box compared to any other carb he has used.
