    Hey there, The crown vic IFS is 1 inch wider (per side) than the straight axel. This is not a problem if you use a high offset wheel like the late model mustangs use. The original 15 inch wheels for this truck had about 1 3/4 inch of rim from the hub mounting surface so there should be more than enough clearance.

    Hey there, i have recently purchased a '56 F100 and have discovered your build. VERY IMPRESSIVE. I am particularly interested in your CV IFS. I keep reading that it's too wide (track width) for these trucks. I don't mind running a little more offset but what did you find? I'm sorry if i missed this in your thread (it's a long thread!).
