Hi Gary, sorry I do not have any pictures of where they tapped into the wires coming off the factory amp. I had a shop do it and I was not involved. No they did not keep the factory sub amp. The factory sub and amp had to come out to fit the sub box (I believe). The signal for the sub amp comes from the rear speaker signal (as far as I know). Sorry, not much help!! Good luck!!

I was looking at some older post on upgrading the audio in my 2012 F250 w/ factory nav. I noticed you did this and had some great details. By any chance, do you have a picture of where the installation guys taped in the the wires coming off of the factory amp that feed the door speakers to run you LCQ-1? I am pretty sure I have the correct set, just want to make sure before I start cutting. Did the installation team keep the factory sub amp like the factory amp for the door speakers?
