Strength wise they are all comparable.
The 1356 was available from the 80 till 95
the 4407 was only available from 96-97
As for the 4406 never heard of it, is it a half ton thing?

hi, i posted a tread with this question but no answer i thinking u might know so here goes can tell me differences in the 1356, 4406, 4407 transfer cases. which 1 has the highest 4H and the lowest 4L??? which 1 is more rugged???
