Standard Ford, the driver door never got a lock. Door locks on the driver side are optional with the 5 star deluxe package. Ya see, back in the day, only the respectable guy would allow his wife to exit the passenger side facing the curb first, and follow her out that way. Opening a door into traffic on the side of the road just didn't happen much. Then again, most trucks didn't even see a road or curb, lol.
