Conversation Between peter_x and echz

Hi, I just saw your post from a while ago regarding the removal of an antenna (I think it was because you wanted to remove the cowl) -- I was wondering if you were able to get it apart, and how? I've got a 1988 F-250 and I'm stuck in the same position you were with getting the cable and the base to separate. Any insight you can offer would be great ... Thanks a lot!
