You're welcome! I'm a life member of Good Sam and I am on rv.net blog as well. I know some folks on there are Champion bashers and you're not worthy unless you overpay for a Honda or Yamaha generator.

Thank you for that information you posted on my profile about the generator. I've had a lot of people commenting on my blog about generators and this is the first truly useful info anyone has given me.

The Champion 2000 is 2000 watts maximum and 1600 watts continuous. It is rated at 53 db at 23 ft. Honda is the same noise level at 1/4 output. They don't give apples to apples comparison, but they are relatively close. Champion runs 9.5 hours on a gallon of gas at 25% load. Same as the Honda. Champion is about half the price. You could get a parallel kit as well and get 2 of these to run 30Amp. The kit also has the RV 30A plug. Check them out and compare. I am happy with mine.
