Sorry for the MUCH DELAYED response - I haven't been on the Forum in Forever, as you can tell! I just saw your message. Yes, I did and it was a PITA! I had to drill about a dozen (or more) melted cones off the end of the studs that hold the chrome and blue pieces together. That separates the pieces, very carefully because the very outer ring breaks very easily (trust me, I found out - was able to epoxy it back together). Then I slowly but surely sanded off the chrome and scuffed the blue so they would take paint, painted them and put them back together. NOW, I took and old soldering gun and a ground a 1/2" bolt to a dull point, and used that to re-set each of the dozen or so studs that I had drilled in the beginning. That was tough because there wasn't much left to work with! Hope this helps a year and a half later?

Did you do your grille emblem yourself?
