Hey Bluejets, sorry for delay. I just saw this message. As for shifter linkage, I haven't completed that part yet. There is a section in the thread where I've fabbed an extension to the AOD linkage that sort mimics the old cruiseomatic lever on the trans. It seems to work on the garage floor but haven't tested it in the truck yet. I'm sure some additional tweaking will be required. Will keep you posted. Thanks. Randy

hey guys its been a while for me and my son to get on and read post , i saw were youre puttig in a 5.0 with aod , we have a 66 short stepside we are doing the same but using a carb and vbelts . our major problem is getting our shifter connected. we're using a tilt steering ,early ford van ,colum shift ,every thing is backward on the aod. any help would be useful.
