Sorry, but Ive never worked on a diesel.
A gas 97 to 03 ,the hardest thing about changing a water pump is taking off the fan.
But I'm sure your truck probably is different.

phil sorry to be a newbie to the diesel world but are there any tips for me tomorrow i have to try and tackle this water pump issue on my 97 f250 4x4 manual?
