Hi Tony. I have 3:73s. Not much more I can add. I do my best not to let the engine lug. I lock out 6th, anticipate the grades. Start at the bottom of a grade in 4th, let it drop to 3rd, keeping the RPMs between 3-4000 up all the way.

Just got back from a trip thru Maine. The truck road like a champ. The most comfortable truck I have ever pulled with. Averaged 10 MPG (US) with the trailer. There were a couple 6 percent/3 mile grades in New Brunswick where I maintained 60 mph in 3rd.
