Conversation Between housedad and OneHigh4x4

I have almost the same setup minus gears. Got 3.73's now. Really want 4.56. Are they all that with 285's or just soso. Not cheap and hate to dump a grand in it if its not a BIG difference. I tow only about 6500 lbs and dont run over 75 mph. Did it hurt fuel mileage, i'm about 11 around town and 12-13 on the highway empty, 8-9 pulling camper. Thanks
