Those are both 4R100s. The V10 trans will work, but some of the shifts will be firmer than the original trans. The V10 has more clutch plates.

I had a quick question for you. I have an 03 F250 with a 5.4 that needs a tranny. That tranny should be a 4r100 correct? On last question I know of a parts truck but it is a 2000 with a v10 is that tranny also a 4r100? Thank you in advance!!
