I'm unsure of the gauge as it was left over aluminum plate a friend had. When set into a dash recess it just sits below the edge. I like aluminum because it's so easy to work with, and easy to polish up. I picked up another dash and plan to rework it so my pushbutton starter is beside the key and I have another mounting area for switches. Not over the top but cleaner.

Hey I really like the dash you built for your truck, What steel gauge did you use for the gauges, I paid to have my dash done, and I dont like it, Ill I have pics of my dash its all Aluminium custom built, and cost me $300.oo yours looks much nicer!
