Hi fmc400,
I've been lurking on this site for a couple days looking for information as to what is wrong with the charging system on my 74 E-100. I searched and read many of the alternator/battery posts in the 73-79 Truck forum and found that you had replied to almost everyone of them and gave VERY good troubleshooting info and recommendations to those posters.

I was wondering if you would be so generous, could you possibly help me troubleshoot the charging issue on my van? If you wouldn't mind doing that, I can provide you a link to the post I put on the econoline forum I belong to. Or I could just re-explain my problem or post a new topic. Whichever is easiest. The econoline forum I'm a member of isn't all that active and I haven't been able to find info related to my issue there. Which is why I joined this forum.
