Howdy, sorry it took me so long to get back with you, I've been out of town for work.

My 2wd Excursion is lifted 6 inches and the shocks from a 4wd Excursion lifted 6-8 inches would fit without issue. On a stock height truck, you need:

    Front: 33-187297 5100 series 0-2 inches
    Rear: 24-185479 4600 series 0-2 inches or 33-151656 5100 series 3-5 inches

They don't make a 5100 series shock for the rear

Hey, how's it going? I saw this post by you:

"Do what I did and get some lift shocks for your truck. My rear shocks actually belong on a 4wd truck with a 6-8 inch lift, but they still fit and ride so well. They were a PITA to put in, but it was definitely worth it!

You can now get them with a lifetime warranty from Autozone...they'll have to order them, but it's worth not having to pay for them again."

...And I was just wondering how you knew the 5100s for a 6-8" lift would fit without issue on a stock height vehicle? I want the 5100s also, for my '01 7.3 Excursion, but as you know, they don't make them for stock height in the rears. Will the 5100s for a 4-6" lift work as well, or what would you recommend?

Thanks you very much for your response!
